If you get really hungry around 11pm/midnight, is better to eat something

healthy or nothing until morning? I eat properly, in moderation and lead a healthy life style. I know it's not the best idea to eat late at night however I find myself getting quite hungry around 11pm or 12am and am conflicted. Do I eat something small and healthy to tide me over, or ignore the hunger and sleep? Also, what are good food ideas for night time?

I am exactly the same. I eat cereal in the morning, small lunch and a substantial dinner around 6pm. I find myself most hungry between 11pm and midnight, i usually tend to ignore it until the morning but it's at the forefront of my mind and generally very distracting. I tend to want fatty stodgy food at this time like pizza or cheese on toast, something very filling. To be able to go to sleep I'll drink a large glass of water which quenches the hunger for a few minutes though nothing satisfies me unless it's quite heavy and filling!

same here right nw im starving well i havnt ate anything since morning actually say ove starved myself up until this moment and its like quarter past 11 at night nw
and im relii starving cba going dwn stairs cause i know there wont be nothing decent in it and nowt that im reelii looking for such as pizza or junk basically starving guess i supoose to w8 till 10 mins and then see hw i feel if nt have to stick to anything i find in kitchen
