I took the kids to Manhattan Beach today. It was a sunny 73 Fahrenheit (23 Celsius). That happens in February. Nothing unusual. (Gotta love Los Angeles!)
The kids dug two holes and sat in them. We tossed a ball. Two other pairs were playing catch as well, and a large group was playing a game of American football. Nobody was ticketed.
The beach looks like this when it's not summer.
