if you hear your knee make like a pop sound after you fall, is it serious?

i fell on my school campus and my knee made this sort of pop sound. then eversince on, its been sore when i bend it and its been like a week already.and the first couple days it was hard to walk, but then i could walk after. also, there was some sort of swelling near the joint. the pain hasnt changed yet. is it very serious or is it just like a minor sprain?

If the pain goes away, don't worry too much about it. If you can't put weight on your leg because of the pain, then it is serious

Sounds like you needed a DR days ago....check with a dr now just to be safe, so you can prevent surgery later.
