Im canceling my BT internet and going with another supplyer, will i lose this email?

the email ends in @btopenworld.com so when the bt internet ends will i lose the use of this emailo address?
 
Probably not ,but when i changed ISP from' Orange Broadbad' they told me i could keep my email but lied and they closed it.But i don't think B.T is that petty.

no you won't my bf was with bt and he is now with sky and still has his bt email account, no problems at all.
 
Possibly you should ask them, some providers leave just the email active.

As for the guy unhappy with Orange they did not close your email account, they change emails attached to closed BB accounts to Pay as you Go dial up internet accounts, if you dial in every 300 days the account remains active, if you do not dial in it goes inactive, however it can be reacitvated simply by visiting their website.
