Hello, I'm in sophomore year of high school and I'm thinking about a career as a doctor. Honestly, I don't really know what "kind" of doctor, that's one of the many things I need information of. I'm really interested in reading about chemicals and medicines in pills/medications. But what are some classes I should be taking in my remainder of high school? Where should I go to college, how long will I be going, what are the general costs, what kind of courses would I have, what should my major be, etc. Also, are there any good colleges for this in and/or near Pennsylvania, specifically near the Poconos or Philadelphia? Please just provide me with some basic information, or point me in the right direction at least. Part of my problem evidently is that I don't really know exactly what I'm searching FOR.
