I plan on signing with the air force when I turn 18, and I have a boyfriend. Would we need to marry in order for him to travel with me? Or can we just remain unmarried?
I've been trying to look up the rules, but I ended up feeling extremely overwhelmed, and I could ask my dad (who was in the air force for 26 years) but I'm afraid he'd be all fatherly and give me a spiel about how I shouldn't get married until I'm thirty or something. Which is exactly why I'm wondering if there is any way he (boyfriend) can travel with me WITHOUT marrying me. Help?
