I'm leaving wednesday but I don't have my PASSPORT!?

My dad forgot to renew my passport and he just noticed that it has expired. We are going out of the country to South America on Wednesday. Does anyone know whether I will be able to obtain a passport by Tuesday, the nearest agency to me is in Philadelphia which is an hour away so I don't mind going to an appointment. Will they be able to process my passport in time for my trip ??! :( No rude answers please, I need help!

You can get an emergency passport. It isn't cheap but it can be done. You better head for Philly first thing tomorrow morning.

You can call National Passport Information Center at 1-877-4USA-PPT (1-877-487-2778) to schedule an appointment to apply in person at a Passport Agency. You'll need to bring proof of your travel date.However, sorry to say they probably won't be able to get it processed in three days. Couldn't hurt to try, though.

You need to call that office MONDAY morning and hope you can get an appointment for Tuesday. See page below for the number. If you can get an app't for Tues, you should be able to get your passport. See 2nd site to read document you need and to print out the forms to fill out so you will be ready. Good Luck.

You need to be standing in line on Monday morning in Philadelphia if you even have a chance. Just be sure to bring a copy of your airline reservation to prove you are leaving on Wednesday. They can do it, just be there on Monday!
