I'm looking for a good handheld device to use for reading ebooks. Any suggestions?

I am trying to pick out a little handheld device which I intend to use for:

* Reading Ebooks
* Using a few minor mobile apps
* Maybe a little web searching
* Possibly Email

(Those are in order of importance!)

Any suggestions? Extra points for links to product details and price.

the iphone is really good for that and now that the craze is over its alot more affordable. cingular is a really good company or u could go with any othr one that offers it and rememebr u can always buy the phonefrom ebay and just get it turned on in the store saves u way more money
