I'm Alex, and I'm a seventeen year old male. I've been dating my girlfriend for a little over sixteen months, but there have been rumors going around that I'm cheating on her with one of my female friends. I've been friends with this girl for a while, but we both have serious relationships. I used to cheat on women in middle school, but every woman I cheated on emotionally and sometimes physically abused me. Now, I understand that that doesn't justify anything, but it's still worth saying. I've decided to turn over a new leaf with my current girlfriend, but people can't seem to believe that I can change. My question is: Does anyone know how to prove that I'm not cheating?

You shouldn't give a damn what anybody else thinks. Does your girlfriend think you are cheating? If she does, when you say you aren't, you're better off just dumping her cause there is no trust k. Your relationship.

If she believes you, just ignore the others and get on with life.

Yes, there's only one way - prove it literally, nothing you say will ever ever ever prove it. If you want to prove it then just prove you love this girl and have a serious relationship with her, long term ideally (if everything goes well of course, don't do it purely to prove a point, going out with someone you don't really like is just as bad as cheating on someone, it's lieing to them). But yea, in time as the relationship lasts longer people will see you've changed. There's no around it. Then again this shouldn't be hard if you actually love her :)

It will only be a while before your girlfriend gets suspicous. So every tine she asks where you're at, send her a photo.
