I'm meeting my dads new girlfriend?

I haven't seen my dad since august, this would make it 8 months. I know it doesn't seem like a lot of time, but it is. He has divorced my step mom & now has a new girlfriend. He's coming down to where we live from where he is, to meet us and have dinner. I'm really worried about what he's going to say, if he's going to ask about my mom or if his girlfriend is going to try and get us to call her mother or something. Please, if you have any advice on how I can make a good impression and show him that I've grown up? I'd appreciate it very much, I'm nervous that he wont like me, or his girlfriend wont.

I only see my daughter every two weeks, which is devastating to me. Just act mature and hug your dad and tell him you love him. Meet the new girl and be polite. You'll do fine.

Edit: However, my daughter is moving back with me to start high school next year.

I promise you your dad has the same feelings going on. He wants you so much to like his new gf and there's no way she's going to ask you to call her mom. All you have to be is open and honest and kind. If you end up hating her - you say I'm glad you trusted me enough to introduce me to her. And nothing more. Or I've just met her. Don't be unkind after the first meeting.

Your dad wants your happiness - remember that - he may have gone through hell in the divorce and had it rough for a while but he's back - and needs you in his life - promise
