...protected strip be enough? I am moving, and the roommate said that there has been a couple of surges. Will a multi-plug unit with surge proctection be adequate in protecting my computer (and other electronics?)
If so, WHAT IS A VERY RELIABLE MULTI-PLUG UNIT (Strip etc)?
 
Do not buy one from Walmart...go to a good electronics store and pay about $60-$70 bucks per surge protector and use them especially on your electronics stuff
