The kids at my school are so immature; they call everyone (including me) "emo" just because we wear black clothes. Come on, its not like we'll wear pink! *shivers* How do I get them to leave me and my friends alone???
 
they do dat 2 me n my friends all the time. i hate emo people n wouldnt want 2 be called dat but it seems like i always am. u should just ignore them..thats what i do. dont give in and start wearing pink or bright clothes or watever. wear wat ever makes u happy. 4get thos idiots =)
 
In my opinion if you don't want to change the way you dress and there is no actual way for people to stop calling you that if they become very immature then why let it bother you? You like black, so what? Don't let a bunch of immature people faze your high school years because of a little label. Sooner or later if you ignore it and let the comments slide they wont bother you anymore. All they want is either attention or because they're insecure.
 
Oh i remember when i went thorugh that stage=) haha i made a big deal about it just like your are too. I just decided to give up becuase i really didn't care what people thought of me. Just because i like music doesnt mean im emo=). Anyways just keep doing what you are doing. You shouldnt care what people think of you.
 
What people say is what people say. Not much you can do to turn their opinion around, other than turning the root of their opinion around. Smile in obvious manners, laugh a lot, become extroverted, stop wearing black?

That said, kids will call kids whatever they want, 'cause they're kids. You can be bothered by their subjective comments or just live along carefree and happy with yourself.
