I'm not sure what internet service provider I have?

Sounds like a dumb question but is there anyway on my computer that tells me? My mom gets all the like high speed ones mixed up with another and it doesn't matter to her. But I was just wondering if there's a way to tell.

go into command prompt and type tracert www.yahoo.com the first jump should have the name of your ISP or you can do an ipconfig /all and find your IP address and do a whois (IP address) or i believe nslookup (IP address) will get you the name also

You can easily find your internet service provider through ip look up.If you need your ip information visit ip-details.com .Here you can get your ip location, isp details, latitude and longitude also.
