I'm thinking about buying an iPad...?

I have a laptop and an iPod Touch and an HTC EVO...but I think I want to get the iPad. Does anyone have any advice...is it worth it?? With all of the things that I already have, is it a waste of money or is the iPad worth buying....like does it do something different that my things can't already do?? Not trying to be arrogant...I just want to know if it would be worth it for me...thanks in advance!

It really depends. Are you/will you be going to school? Do you have other things that you need at the moment? Think about why you want it and if you REALLY need it. I think you should wait til iPad2 comes out.

ipad is not worth it. just stick with all ur hitech stuff u already have. but if u really want one, they will be making an ipad 2 this year and it will supposuvly be cheaper than this one and better. but i wouldnt get it

Personally, I don't think it's worth it. An iPad is pretty much a large ipod touch that is big enough to be a laptop with a touchscreen. But, if it's inconvenient for you to have so many devices, many getting an all-in-one will be worth it.

There really isn't anything the iPad does that your other things won't. The iPad is very stylish, and you get 'bragging rights' but in terms of expanding your actual capabilities it doesn't do much for you..

If it was me, I'd want an e-reader. A Nook or Kindle is better for reading e-books. If you read e-books. They are easier on the eyes for reading text. Otherwise the iPad is just a larger iPod Touch. (It's been described as 'A big iPhone without the phone'.
