I'm doing a report on the importance of Abraham Lincoln and I am well aware that he freed slaves and won the Civil war. But what other notes (that i can apply into my report) that will answer the ? (what the importance of Abraham Lincoln is)
 
well he was a president
i guess since he was one of the first to get assasinated
he helped us figure out we need to protect our presidents more
 
he never gave up! he lost almost every race for office he ran except his run for presidency, he was the reason the union split up and the reason it came back together,
 
He was an influential person who set the mold that treating everyone as an equal was the correct way to go.

He worked to reunify the north and south instead of allowing the south to separate themselves.
