In 1960s did Vauxhall / Opel share any common parts with Chevrolets?

I have a mid sixties Chevrolet in the UK and wondered whether anyone had identified any parts on European Vauxhalls/Opels that are the same as on American Chevrolets.

You can only check by the part number.

No in the 60's GM America, Vauxhall UK and Opel Germany were run as independent companies there was even very little cross over between the UK and German arms of the company as Opel was competing against Vauxhall for a slice of the UK market.

i odnt think so, the yank tnaks had big engines, and better parts, vauxhall cars of the 60's didnt have qulaity parts like americans
