In August of 2008, with his team down 4-3 to the Chicago White Sox, this manager was tossed from the game for arguing about a hit batsman.

When he exited the field he was so mad that he kicked his hat 15 feet into the air. Then his team rallied to win the game.

(A) Mike Soscia of the Angels
(B) Lou Pinella of the Cubs
(C) Jim Leyland of the Tigers
EDIT - OMG i did a boo-boo. I messed up. I thought it was Leyland, but it was Ron Gardenhire of the Minnesota Twins.

my fault for not including him in the question. :(
 
I would guessed C. If Gardenhire was up there, I probably would've guessed Scoscia though
