I have been talking to this girl for about a month we normally had just watched movies at her house and stuff like that. she kept inviting me out to have dinner but i suggested movies. should I have paid for the tickets???? note: She is always saying how shes the man in relationships and that she likes me to be feminine!!!

i would say she should pay. sometimes its right for whoever asks to go on the date to pay. like if you said hey want to go to dinner you should pay. but since you didnt then your fine (:

if she has a job and you don't, she pays. if you have a job and she doesn't, you pay. If you both have jobs or neither have jobs, you split the price.
I think that's how it should be in all relationships. Gender roles are stupid.

The person who asks for the date should pay.

Or you should take turns paying.

That's how it should be in a male/female relationship too, actually.

I've never really bought into "the man" and "the woman" nonsense in relationships. We are who we are. If she wants to pay, she's welcome to; in your position, I would personally at least try to pay once in awhile; it's a nice gesture, if nothing else.

I would usually say split the check, but I mean, if she INSISTS on paying, you might as well not wrestle for the bill lol. I'm bisexual and on any date I would offer to split the bill no matter the gende rof the person.

Whomever asked the other out is the one who should pay for the date. That's pretty much the rule of thumb regardless of gender or sexual orientation.

If she really is adamant about you not paying, try making it up to her by cooking her a nice meal or making her some goodies. If her demanding that you be more feminine & never paying for anything bugs you, just talk to her honestly & say that you'd like more equality in the relationship. If she really digs you, she'll be willing to at least meet you halfway.
