In a race; which would win? Mustang or Audi?

In a flat out mile long straight race; which car would win. Both being driven by good drivers. A 2001 mustang cobra, or a 2004 Audi S4? I think the S4 has a little more hp but the cobra has more torque and is lighter. Yeah?
