Is there any reason why he spelt straits in 2 different ways, i.e. streights and straits?
Also, in his 'Holy Sonnet VI', i.e. Playes last scene, the words devil and evil are spelt with double l's (so devill and evill). I know they just spelt it like that back then, but can I still make a connection between that and hell since in the poem they are all spelt with double l's? If so how do I do so without saying Donne had implied that when he clearyl didn't?
