In first person present tense, do you find that?

I'm aware of what I'm writing and how I'm starting my sentences. But, when I read over the first draft, I'm always shocked with the repetition. My third person novels don't seem to be too repetitive (I find it easier to write.)

For example, do any of you notice the sentences start with 'It, I, He/She, The, Their, They, What etc...'
I find it amazing, because when I'm writing I don't see the simple sentence starters. I'm aware of never using the same word too many times E.G. I never start a sentence with 'I' more than twice in a single paragraph.

Do any of you happen to spot this when editing? It's really frustrating because you have to rephrase, or completely re-write the entire sentence.

Thanks for your time.
