In Harvest Moon DS cute, do you need to water your trees after they sprouted?

I play Harvest Moon DS cute, and I started planting trees, so i was wondering if I need to water the trees after they start to sprout because there is no more little squares around it. Help please?

You don't ever need to water trees. They grow on their own.
