I recently starting taking a style of kung-fu. Let's say you are in a normal fighting stance. In order to be rooted to the ground, how should your legs feel?
Should your legs be tensed or relaxed?
Should your legs feel supple and flexible with the feeling of weight on the bottom of your feet or should you feel weight on your entire leg, so your leg feels stiff and solid?
Should you intentionally distribute body weight onto your legs?
I just like to know how it's suppose to feel to be rooted to the ground, so I can generate power for my strikes.
