In the series you hear brief mentions of Hercules, yet never see him.In the myth after Hercules painful death,Hercules is given the gift of immortality along with Hera's daughter Hebe. Both Greek and Roman mythology Hercules plays such an important role, and yet is never seen.Even in the series you see both Jason and Percy treading through Hercules path, yet never met him.
Could it be that Hera was again trying to place a positive spin on the story,to make her look better? If you see the myth it immediately stops after Hercules immortality, there is no other mention of him.Keep in mind that Hercules died before the Trojan war,a war in which almost every god had a stake in. It is also shown that Hebe had a demigod son.
And if Hercules was not given the status as a God,then wouldn't he make Gaea's ultimate soldier, could he turn down his revenge?
