In your opinion, are printed books dead?

By printed books I mean anything from graphic design books to harry potter. With the exponential advancement in technology everythig is becoming digital. It would be cool to get some opinions. In my view it's not dead, in fact it's sort of bounced off digital medium as being something fresh in contrast to the information that's shoved into our faces on the internet; I guess a sort of well-researched, refined medium of information. It's most certainly dying but not by any means dead yet. What do you guys think?

No way. Im 15, very good with technology, a complete computer geek, and still refuse to read ebooks. Because theres nothing like the feel of a books spine before you open i for the first or 50th time, or the smell of the pages as you flip through them, or really the memories they hold between their pages. Each and every book has a whole world between its covers. Ebooks dont have covers.

I buy a lot of books. I own a Kindle. I buy a lot of ebooks. Strangely enough I also started buying a lot more printed books after I got the Kindle than I did before. So I'm thinking no. Even if you own an e-reader, it's not a reason to completely abandon printed books.

Same way as we think news papers (printed news/ print media) is dead, yet I always see my news paper claiming that they added so many thousands every week :)
