In your relationship, who does the dishes, etc.?

We're genderqueer and I just wonder how the rest of you split your chores up...

Do you break along traditional lines? One does dishes while the other changes the oil in the car?

Inquiring minds want to know!

with my long term ex I was the skinny one but knew more about mechanics and outdoors shit, but he was the muscly one who knew more about indoor stuff like washing and ironing...so together we had a good dynamic going and got a fair bit done between us.
 
we both do dishes and laundry

no one changes the oil.. the mechanic does that!!!
we both are pretty feminine!
 
i do most of the chores and cook because he works nine to fives every day and his job is more difficult than mine lol
 
I've seen him wash the dishes maybe once a year in the 27 years we;ve been together.
 
Well here's how we roll, lol
1- Everyone takes care of their own dishes or the Dishwasher does.
2- Oil and car care and all that stuff we don't do, the mechanics do it..
3- Laundry is usually about 10 loads so either half and half OR i wash and he folds and hangs them..or the other way around too..
4- Cleaning! Ugh!.. when we can get a maid we do, if not we both try to help each other..
5- Making the bed: the one who wakes up second has to do it! lol i always win..
6- Cooking.. we eat out mostly but if we cook, IF he cooks, i do the dishes..
