Income needed to buy/lease BMW?

Why kind of income do you need to buy or lease a brand new BMW? I know it's different for everyone depending on credit and whatnot, but what's a basic number that it'll be close to? I'm just wondering how much I'll have to pay a month for it. Thanks!
