Information on "Kite" Anime edits?

I am so confused. Can someone please explain to me the various cuts that have been made to the releases over the years so that I know which one to buy?
Please allow me to rephrase my question. I am aware that there is "Kite" and its sequel "Kite Liberator". What I am referring to are the several different releases and the amount of editing it each of the sex scenes, that is where my confusion lies.
 
Kite has two versions. One of them is the Director's cut and has strong sexual scenes. I've seen it on sale as a double feature with Mezzo Forte, another work of the director's with sex in it. Then there is the sequel Kite Liberator
