Ingrown toenail??????

Well, I have always had this fear that I might get one.
]:
When I was trimming my nails, and one side of my nail hurt like hell.
So I trimmed the top right part, but to bottom right still hurt.
So trying to get there, I accidentally cut my skin.
Now this little wart like bump is there. And all icky and bloody.

Did the tissue come out of the skin?
Or is it ingrown?
Because my nail doesn't hurt anymore but only if I press directly on the nail but if I press near all the cut stuff it hurts like hell.
But in a pic I saw it looked somewhat similar to an ingrown toenail.

You probably have an ingrown toenail. But not to worry! It'll go away. Just take a LITTLE clump of a cotton ball and roll it into a little bar and stick it between the nail and skin. It might hurt to wedge it in there, but I've had ingrowns before and that's what my doctor told me to do.
