insecure about my teeth ? :( meeting this guy...?

okay so there's this guy I met at a friends bday party... we didn't talk but he looked at me and I smiled at him . Somehow he found me on facebook and we started talking . We're going to hang out at this flea market in the city but the thing is im so insecure about my teeth :( theyre like vampire fangs . Like at the edge on both sides theyre canine teeth and go up on my gums :( what should I do ? or any advice ?

I have the same thing going, and the best way to do is to own it. If people stare, make a joke out of it, tell them you're a real vampire and that you'd bite the heck out of them if you don't stop staring. If he wants to hang out with you then he probably likes you for who you are, and that's a keeper. If not, his loss. You'll find someone better. You can't change your teeth at a moment's notice, so try to be comfortable in your skin. Focus on what you like, what you guys have in commons, etc. Good luck.

Sounds cute. I assure you he won't mind. But he will pick up on your insecurity if you're stressing about it, so don't!
 
aww babe i have the same problem but ive got over it .if thats u in the pic im sure ur teeth will be the last thing thats bothering him seriousli.hu cares about teeth loool .and if they are bothering u that bad u can fix them so its not realli bad .im planning on getting mine fixed next month.if it will make u more confident take the step and do it.but meanwhile draw attention to ur finer features like u eyes or cheekbones ect xx :)
 
omg i totally feel your pain. i had the same thing with my teeth when i was younger. i never smiled too big because i didnt want people to see my fangs. one time i was in a pool and i was laughing with my friend and usually i would cover my mouth when i laughed but i was having fun and didnt and this little girl goes ew you look like a vampire. It destroyed me. ok wow now on the bright side of things lol my mom got me braces and my teeth shifted so fast and now i smile all the time and get a lot of compliments on my smile and teeth. for now, go out with the guy but before yu do text him about your teeth. or on the phone. guys dont care about teeth. they are fixable. the best thing my mom ever did for me was get my braces. its so worth it. i smile a lot so i cant imagine how my life wouldve been affected. u wont regret braces. but in the meantime, trust me, guys wont care. i got boyfriends regardless. if thats you in your avatar you're cute! good luck!
 
Actually i've found something to be very true when it comes to being self-conscious... people should like you for who are and not what you look like and really the only person who could ever make you feel uncomfortable is yourself by allowing others to do so.

He's already seen you which means he obviously saw something in you that he liked and he made the first move which should already tell you that your worry is unnecessary

Be yourself and he's sure to think you're fabulous :)
 
You said you smiled at him--which means he saw your teeth. If he's still interested, it obviously doesn't bother him. Besides, other features such as eyes and hair and skin are much more important. Any anyway, if this guy is really worth it, he isn't going to write you off because of two teeth, come on.
