First of all, I live in Florida so the weather I think is pretty good for a hedgehog. I do know that I need a heating lamp to keep it warm at night and what not. Since the weather is going to get a lot colder.
But I was wondering if when I take it out of its cage and what not to play, will that put it in danger of catching a cold since the temperature isn't exactly like 76-78 or whatever it is that the hedgehog needs to be kept under?
The temperature thing is honestly the main thing that concerns me.
Another thing that concerns me is the cage. My mother says she plans on getting a fishtank for it (One of those big square ones) but I read that glass tanks aren't good. So what kind of cage is appropriate for a hedgehog?
