Interested in prophecies about December 21, 2012...?

I've been doing some research on the prophecies about Dec. 21, 2012 and the antichrist. I'm trying to stay positive but all the sites I've found are all Catholics saying the antichrist is a Jew, or some say that Obama is the antichrsit, hateful stuff. I'd love to find some information presented from a non-religious point of view, or at least one that wasn't written by any clergy. This stuff is scaring me! I know the 2012 winter solstice will be a sleepless night for me!

All I know is that the world will supposedly end, and it's really scary.........

Well 2012 has nothing to do with Christianity. The whole notion of the world ending or in any way changing was taken from a misunderstanding about the Mayan calendar.
