I have to write a huge assignment for history this year but first I need to choose a topic. We've been given a lot of freedom for this project topic and I was in need of some ideas.
Examples of how the topic would be are as such: Alchemy had little or no effect on modern day medicine. Then we have to prove or disprove that topic.
Although that topic was somewhat interesting, it is not what I really want to do. I would prefer to do something out of Japan's history (or even modern day that has influenced us/them) and was wondering if anyone could help me come up with a significant event that would be interesting.
Please note, I'm not the type of person who finds modern wars interesting. I do like the idea of samurai's and such but I need help choosing an event or how they influenced modern day.
