i'm a senior in high school and we have to do a senior research project as a requirement to graduate but im having such a hard time picking a topic and creating a thesis for it because we can choose anything we want to research. any help would be great. some things i'm interested in would be food/drinks, music, photography, body art, beauty, etc. i really need help narrowing down an idea and creating a thesis. Thanks!

You could make a comparison of the different definitions of beauty over the centuries, comparing different known "beauties" of those times. Or how due to our advanced state of media the meaning of an Idol is taken differently.
For example: Queen Elizabeth I was an Idol for her excellent reign over Britain, you could compare her to maybe Princess Diana who was an Idol as well although in a completely different sense.
 
I thought doing something with adoption & helping someone find their biological parent would b cool. But if your wanting something dealing with music, maybe you could do something dealing with illegal downloading and how its making cd rates go down or sumthing.
