I need to pick a topic for an Indian history essay. The timeframe is anywhere between 1757 (when the British first arrived) and 1856 (the Indian Mutiny.) I'm not trying to cheat here, it's jut such a huge area of history that I'm at a loss to pick one topic. Any ideas? Thanks!
