Internet connected, but can't browse. Any clue?

Here's a recent problem that's been bothering my internet surfing activities. Sometimes after visiting certain websites, I'll no longer be able to visit any other website on Firefox, despite still having a working internet connection.

I'll visit my router page and the status will still be listed as connected. My torrents or any downloads I have going will still run. Usually, the particular website that caused the problem will still allow me to browse within it. Otherwise, I get the typical 'Page load error' page.

I'm able to relieve the situation by resetting my modem.
 
uninstall firefox, its for mac comps, you will get confused, use ie8, wins7 also uses ie8
 
no this happened to me firefox and IE stopped working i had to download opera which is a browser on a dif computer save on a thumb drive and bring to main comp
