Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage...?

On some webpages, I get the Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage error. NOT for the site but usually for ads or links to other sites. I really dont need these ads or links, but I hate to get a part of the screen that says it cannot display. I am currently using IE7. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
I doubt the problem is with IE. I see it in all my browsers. Sometimes the ads on a site don't work. ∠°)
