Internet keeps disconnecting and phone dont work?

Hey guys the internet light on my modem keeps switching itself of every few minutes, but varies, i have to keep switching of the modem and turning it back on to reconnect, and i have a cordless home phone and when i call a number there is this loud buzzing sound and you can hear the voices faintly in the background,

is it something to do with the phone line causing the internet or phone to bust or is my phone just broke and is it my computer playing up?
