So I have a router, and it's displaying perfect signal, but when I connect to it, the stupid shit doesn't work, it says I'm not connected to the internet.
And now I have to go on this shitty network, that constantly skips and it's literally pissing me off because I have to work on this global essay so I'm free for the rest of the weekend and I can't even get the damn thing done.

I have a macbook, and a linksys router, and time warner cable for my internet if it helps.

Has anyone had this problem before? And what did you do about it?

Oh and I've had this problem waaay before I had the macbook.. So yeah it's pretty freaking annoying.

I'm a bit confused by your description. Can you EVER reach the Internet? If not, your router may not be logging in to your Internet provider.

If you mean the router can't STAY connected, then remove the router and connect directly to the modem. Of course, you would need to log in to the provider manually. They can help you with this. If that does not work any better, blame your Internet provider or the modem.
