I am using Vista and I have a Netgear wireless router with the MTU packet size set to 1500. My wi-fi internet connection is pretty fast, but when I visit a website the page doesn't always load on the first try. It always loads after refreshing the link, however. Does anyone know what might be causing my Firefox and IE to not load on the first try? I have tried reducing the MTU packet size, but that doesn't seem to be the problem and my wi-fi signal is excellent. I have the feeling that there is a Vista/Netgear firewall setting that is causing pages not to load on the first try.
