unchecked a box that said....(read desc.)? ok, the computer has windows xp and when u open up wireless network connection (the little computer with the green lines near it). It opens up a window that says wireless connection status, then u click on properties which opens up the box that says wireless network connection properties. In this box, there are 3 tabs on the top: general, wireless networks, and advanced. if u click the wireless networks tab, the first thing there is a checked box that says "use windows to configure my wireless network settings". this is where all the trouble began, on desktop computer, i unchecked that box and now not only will it not connect to the internet anymore, but the tab that said wireless networks has completely disappeared so i cant re-check the box. I cant even detect any wireless signals from that computer now. when i say "view wireless networks" it doesnt find any. oh yea, im on my laptop right now so i know the internet is fine. but how do i get that box back where it was or make windows configure my wireless???
