Hello as of last week my internet has suddenly gone slow on me. Here are the symptoms, it will goto 1 or 2 websites and then it wont go anymore. its as if something is blocking it from connecting to the next site. it has trouble loading up icons as well. Its really frustrating. Heres what i have done so far.
1. Walked through an expert on techsupportforum.com and he had me do a bunch of scans and in the end he said theres nothing really harming your system so that was that.
2. cleared my cookies, cache, temporary internet files numerous times.
3. defraged my C drive
4. i have windows live one care and that comes up with nothing on a full scan
5. i have the latest java installed and no other previous versions exist
6. I have played some games online on my computer and they work fine, no interuptions and smooth connection speed as usual
7. I called comcast and the lady said my connection was fine from where she was
8. iv resetted my router and unplugged everything
9. Iv uninstalled harmful/useless add ons/ plugins for firefox.
10. Iv removed a bunch of startup items that weren't needed.
11. I have all the updates, iv reinstalled mozilla to the latest version.
so basically it goes for a few sites then once i goto another, doesn't matter which one. it will keep saying connecting... or loading or waiting for...
