internet server via bluetooth 3G mobile?

I am in Sicily connecting to the web from my laptop via bluetooth using my 3G nokia phone. at present using mozilla firefox as a server. is there anything better or faster? normally we are on UMTS, but depending on location sometimes its only GPRS! mozilla is faster than internet explorer, is there a server designed just to be used by phone connection?
