Internet slowed down Big time?

i moved house about 3 months ago and my connection was fine for liek the first 2 and a half, but recently my internet has been very slow. on every site i go on that has a video on it, it takes ages for it to buffer and it stops and starts all the time. on my xbox 360 ive been downloading a demo and its taken a week to do 70%. why is it so slow all of a sudden? and btw my signal to my wifi box is strong.

Try resetting the wifi box or moving it somewhere else in the house, if that doesnt work try moving the xbox or the wifi box close to each other and plug them in using an ethernet cable.

If all that fails then buy a new box/get a new internet service

could have been speed capped by your provider if you have been downloading a lot of stuff

Check your broadband contract you may be exceeding download limit and your speed capped, there may be congestion in your area and this affects your download speeds (o2 broadband have big issue at the moment with this). Also the internal wiring of your house may be to blame if you have ADSL broadband. Connect to your main BT socket if not in this already, and if you are try the socket behind this called the test socket(unscrew face plate)
