I've had rats for years and never had any problems introducing new ones. However, I have two male rats now that will not accept the new 4 month old male rat. Their cages have been next to each other for a few weeks but every time I put them in the bath tub together, its a huge fight. I don't know what else I should do to help the two older rats accept the new one.
