i have to write an essay about misconceptions about psychology and psychologists.
and i would like you to tell me your opinion in the introduction paragraph (as i always find it the hardest part in any essay
) and also if you could give me tips.
Yes, English is my Second language, so please don't give me a hard time about it, as am doing my best to minimize my English mistakes. also if you could advice me on how to write in a better fashion, please, go ahead .
Here is the Paragraph :
"There are a lot of misconceptions about psychology and psychologists in general. When people hear about psychologists, many of them think only about psychologists who work in clinics or mental institutions. However, there are other professional activities that psychologist perform. In this paper, I will address some of the misconceptions about psychologists, including the difference between psychologist and psychiatrist, the three main categories that the professional activities of psychologists fall into, and different research areas in psychology. "
what i don;t like about this introduction paragraph is the introduction sentence ( the hook up sentence) and the thesis statement also look so simple
