IOS 6 question. Help?

So I have this iphone 3gs.
And i'm from a company that doesn't have iphone. Like, my Iphone is unblocked so I can use it in the other company.


I wanna do the update, the iOS6 thing, but i'm afraid the unblock will leave and i won't be able to use my phone.

Help , please? I really wanna update a few apps, like facebook, twitter, tumblr, kik, and some camera apps and games.

Help?
 
Updating iOS won't cause any problems of the type you're worried about. The phone will stay unlocked and will keep working with the other phone company's SIM.
