iOS4 on iTouch 3G Not Working?

On iTunes, it said would you like to upgrade your iPod to 4.0(iOS4) and I clicked "Download Only". I waited the six minutes till it was done, then said download complete. But NOTHING is new on myiTouch...should have i clicked "Download and Install?"
