OK so i dropped my ipad generation 2 and it cracked the top left corner of the screen, as well as bent the metal under the home button. it cant charge because of the bend. I need it fixed before school starts in the fall. i need to know a few things:
1: has this happened to you, where did you crack yours at?
2: when you (or someone you know) got your ipad fixed how much did it cost?
2.5: what did that cost cover. what all did they fix, was there a warranty etc?
3: where did you take it or send it?
4:how long did it take to get it fixed or get it back?

thanks please include price you paid and any details, like if you were happy with it or if they messed it up etc.

additional info: i live in boise idaho. but there are tons of stores around so anything near you will probably be here as well. i just need to know whats competitive prices.

thanks so much!
by warranty i mean that after you got your screen fixed if there was any touch screen issues with it not working properly would the fix that. im not looking to trade it in. i just need it fixed.

Cracked Screens are not covered by Any apple warranty.

Go into a Apple store and they will replace it for xxxx amount.

I cracked my Ipod made appointment at apple, walked in they took mine off me and gave me a brand new one $99.

So I expect the same for yours but might be $200
