iPad: why do all the apps I download also download to my sisters iPad.?

Me and my sister both have iPads we are connected to the same wi fi network does that have anything to do with it? But mine is new I got it today and whenever I downloaded a game it would interrupt whatever she was doing And download the same game can we fix this?we don't want the same apps
 
You both are using the same account and run the iCloud, it can automatically sync among the iDevice
